Italian Wildflower Honey, 500g. A taste of the Italian countryside, collected by bees across unspoiled landscapes.

Discover the natural character of Italian wildflower honey, produced by Apicoltura Patrizi Marco, a small-scale Italian beekeeping producer whose apiaries are placed in carefully selected areas away from major sources of pollution.

Millefiori honey is created from the nectar of different flowers blooming throughout the season. The result is a naturally complex honey whose aroma, colour and flavour reflect the vegetation and landscape where the bees have been working.

At Essenza Pisterzi, we selected this honey because it represents something we believe is worth bringing beyond Italy: a genuine taste of the Italian countryside, made by a local producer rather than an industrial food brand.

🍯 What is Millefiori honey?

“Millefiori” literally means “a thousand flowers.” Unlike monofloral honeys such as acacia or chestnut honey, Millefiori honey comes from the nectar of different flowering plants. Its character therefore depends on the natural combination of flowers available to the bees.

Where does this Italian honey come from?

Apicoltura Patrizi Marco places its hives in different natural environments across Italy, including areas of the Monti Ernici, Molise, Cilento, Aspromonte, Sila and the Agro Pontino near the Circeo National Park. The apiaries are located in areas selected for their surrounding vegetation and distance from major sources of pollution, including woodland and undergrowth environments as well as medium- and high-altitude mountain areas.

The bees forage naturally among the flowering vegetation surrounding the hives, creating a honey that reflects the biodiversity of the Italian landscapes where it is produced.

Why choose this honey instead of supermarket honey?

Because there is a difference between simply buying honey from Italy and discovering a honey connected to a real Italian producer and its territory.

This is not an anonymous supermarket product selected simply because it carries an Italian label. It comes from an Italian beekeeping business with apiaries positioned in different natural environments, where the surrounding vegetation plays an important role in the character of the honey.

It is the kind of Italian food we look for at Essenza Pisterzi: authentic, local and connected to the places where it is produced.

How to enjoy Italian Millefiori honey

Try it:

  • spread on toasted bread or fresh Italian bread
  • with natural yoghurt and fresh fruit

  • in porridge or breakfast bowls

  • simply enjoyed by the spoonful

A honey to discover, not just a pantry staple

If you are looking for artisan Italian food, authentic Italian products or traditional Italian ingredients that are difficult to find outside Italy, this Millefiori honey is a beautiful introduction to the world of Italian beekeeping.
