How to best enjoy it
To fully enjoy Grana Padano DOP, let it rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving: this way, it will release all its aroma and its soft savory taste.
- For the aperitif: slice it into flakes and serve with chestnut honey, pear mustard, or toasted walnuts. A glass of Lambrusco or Prosecco Brut will enhance its balanced taste.
- In the kitchen: grate it fresh over homemade pasta, creamy risottos, or pureed soups. It adds an enveloping note and an irresistible aroma.
- For a gourmet touch: try a few flakes on beef carpaccio or seasonal salads with extra virgin olive oil and lemon.
